Summary
This event is the first in the RSGB Region 9 series of 2025. There will be a five transmitter course using the 80m band.

Last turn at roundabout 70m before roundabout at Cody Technology Park Cody Gate.
Format of Event
The event will conform to the general
principles of IARU events. There will be a maximum of five transmitters
plus an MO beacon at the finish.
There will be a time limit of 2.5 hours to complete the course.
Competitors who are over time will be listed in the results below those
who are inside the time and have found at least one transmitter.

Scale is 1:7,500. Size A4 landscape.
Timetable
1000 Registration opens. Information sheets issued to ALL entrants.
At this time loan receivers are issued. Tuition will be available for
newcomers on the use of the ARDF receivers (beyond switching it on and
turning up the gain).
1030-1130 Starts at 5 minute intervals. Be at the start 5 minutes before your allocated start time, to receive your map.

Entry fee is £3.
The results will be posted on this web site as soon as possible after the event.
Procedures
Registration, Start and Finish for the competition will be by the car park.
In accordance with the informality of the event the organisers will not require
you to deposit your receiver in a pound before the transmitters start sending.
They do expect you to respect the spirit of this concession by
refraining from using your receiver until reporting to officials
in the start area and then only under their supervision.
The 'flags' for the competition will be 15cm side length.
Safety
Competitors are responsible for their own safety and take part at their own risk. No smoking in the forest. Whistles should be carried
(the emergency signal is 6 blasts repeated at 1 minute intervals).
Loan Equipment
Receivers for 3.5MHz are available on loan at no extra cost (unless you lose the receiver, when the cost is £60).
