Directions
The area is conveniently accessed from the country road from Sharnford to Frolesworth. The location on "Roman Road" is now a single track country lane and is a small section of the original Roman Fosse Way which is no longer part of the national major road netwwork, most of which is the A46.

Format of Event
The event will conform to the general principles of IARU events.
The Sprint format is five transmissions of 12 seconds in a 1 minute cycle.
The course will have five slow keyed transmitters on frequency 1, followed by a 'spectator' beacon on frequency 2. Then five fast keyed transmitters on frequency 3 and finally a finish beacon on frequency 4
The transmitters can be any distance from each other and from the start.

Sport Ident 'punching' will be used to confirm that each transmitter has been visited. There will be 'dibbers' for hire by competitors who do not have one of their own.

Sprint is fast and furious but it favours the fast thinkers over the fast runners.

Scale is 1:7,500. Size A4 portrait. Printed in four colours on waterproof paper.

There will be a time limit of 1.5 hours to complete the course. Competitors who are over time will be listed in the results below those who are inside the time and have found at least one transmitter.
